Level 4 of the Catholic Faith Teaching Manual completes the journey through the earlier levels, focusing on Jesus and His final days on earth. By the end of this stage, students will understand the profound sacrifice of Our Lord in establishing the one true Faith for our salvation.
This level offers a deeper study of prayer, the lives of saints influential in the early Church, and Catholic devotions such as the Nine First Fridays, the First Saturdays, the Fatima visions, the Four Last Things, feast days, the ecclesiastical year, and the history of the Miraculous Medal. Students also learn about Catholic etiquette and other essential practices that enrich their faith.
The aim of Level 4 is to strengthen students in their Catholic identity, helping them draw on the Church’s spiritual treasures to prepare for the challenges of Christian life. This level serves as a vital preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.
